Cheekwood

Cheekwood Museum of Art - The recently renovated Museum of Art is ideal for both elegant receptions and small, seated dinners. The museum is a 1920’s Georgian-style mansion, the former home of Leslie and Mabel Cheek. 20th Use of the Swan Lawn for a ceremony with up to 200 guests is available. Cheekwood is one of the premier Nashville settings for bridal and engagement portraits. If you are a bride renting a space there is no charge for a portrait sitting in the gardens of Cheekwood.

Historic Carnton Plantation

Carnton Plantation has been restored to its former grandeur of the mid-nineteenth century. The mansion and 48 acres make a beautiful backdrop for a wedding and reception. We offer candlelight tours of the mansion for your guests. The grounds have several areas to accommodate stages for a band or DJ as well as areas for dance floors. The large galleries of the mansion allow great settings for your wedding portraits. The Rawlings

The Rawlings, located in Davidson County, 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, has served the community for 70 years.
The Rawlings was established in 1933 by the late Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Rawlings, Sr., parents of the late Captain Joseph Rawlings, who owned The Rawlings from 1957 until 1987.
The legacy continues with Captain Rawlings’ widow, Tove Rawlings, John Rawlings, and Eva Rawlings Parker.
To accommodate your event, we have beautiful outdoor grounds and 12,000 square feet of dining rooms decorated with antiques, silver, crystal, handmade quilts, and woodburing fireplaces. Our 200 acre estate stretches for a mile along Big Marrowbone Creek and Marrowbone Lake.

Travellers Rest Plantation & Museum

Travellers Rest is the 1799 home of prominent Tennessee, Supreme Court Judge, John Overton. The grounds, garden and contemporary, barn facility are available for rental year-round. A catering kitchen and seating for 125 are availalbe in the barn.
